EXPLORATION CHALLENGE 2023-2024

After 2 meetings, the exploration group decided on a challenge topic. The group will explore CIRCLES.

This topic has widespread use, inspiration and techniques.

The following guidelines should be followed if you are participating (any guild member can participate):

1. The finished piece should measure about 12 by 15 inches in either portrait or landscape manner.

2. The edges may be slightly extended.

3. We encourage quilters to use a variety of edges finishes. We will NOT use wooden frames in this challenge.

4. If you wish to make a circle rather than a rectangle, the circle should not be larger than 15 inches in diameter.

5. The challenge piece should be finished by May, 2024.

6. Each quilter should attempt a “new to them” technique.

7. We will not have regular meetings, however if you wish to discuss your project, don’t hesitate to contact one of the people on the list----------or any other quilter.

8. This project is not a secret! This project is not a competition!
